Whilst Day Light Savings ends here in Australia 1st April 2012, it starts today in Cuba.

Shop business hours in Cuba

The majority of shops in Cuba follow uniform business hours throughout the country. Shops in Cuba generally open at 9am and stay open until 5pm. The working week for shops is Monday to Friday although many shops’ business hours include a half day on Saturdays from 10am until 2pm.

Bank business hours in Cuba

Like most other countries in the world, bank business hours seem to be the shortest of all businesses in Cuba. Banks in Cuba open at 9am from Monday to Friday and close for the day at 3pm. On the last working day of every month banks close at around midday and do not re open in the afternoon.
